A small dose of inspiration
Today’s “Kick in the Butt” from RunnersWorld.com really resonated with me, probably because of my recent posts where I’ve written about taking your slow days, slow, your fast days, fast, and everything else in between, in between:

I know I’m a little behind on blogging this week (since I took a sick day on Monday), but last weekend’s 17 miler went relatively well. I still need to master the food thing — what I should eat before my long runs — but I’ll figure that out soon enough. We’re slated for 20 Barrington miles this weekend plus 7 Yassos tonight. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the weather cooperates, because it sounds like things could be messy tonight.
