So much to write, so little interest in taking the time to get it all out, but a quick pop-in to say that as we are approaching the 12-week mark for the Biofreeze San Francisco Marathon here in late July, I have an updated discount code for ya’ll 😀 (I’ve talked before about my racing experiences at SF, so if you missed it, click here, and go back and read through the old RRs… or email me if you have any questions!).

If you’d like to run the 5k, either 13.1, the full marathon, or the ultramarathon, you can save 25% with my code AMBOERIN25. Easy to remember, right? 

More fun: the 25% discount extends to ALL race distances (which is awesome), all the different Challenges the race is hosting, RUN365 Training (which is fabulous if you’re local and are looking to join a training group), and Virtual Races.

Hi, friends. I set the ambitious goal of posting more than once a month for 2017 … and quickly failed. Whoops. I swear I have so much I want to say. If there were a way to instantly transcribe to my blog everything that I write in my head when I run, you’d be really sick of hearing from me by now.

Anyway, before I forget, I wanted to let everyone know that I’m excited to be returning to race the San Francisco Marathon again this year (round four, almost-kinda-sorta!) and as a returning social media ambassador for the race weekend (round three!). I’ve run the marathon twice (2010 unknowingly pregnant, 2014, and that whole DNS-due-to-colitis-thing in 2016, but had that not happened, I would have been there!) as well as the 5k (2015, 13 days pre-birth-of-my-second-kid). I’m excited to target my spring/summer marathon season on this race, and I’m already stoked to see all my buddies near and far who will be coming in for the race weekend.
